Ab exercise tips

A general rule of thumb is do not do abs more than twice a week and there is a reason. Whenever you workout a body part by definition you are hurting those muscles. In an attempt to aid healing the body flushes water to relieve the pain and it gets bloated. So, you will have altered your abdomen size by doing it often. However, if you know this and are not afraid of the measuring tape and scale going up it is Ok until you make it to where it has no gain. But if you are intentionally overusing the area, than all bets are off. So, you can overuse one week and then under use or not use at all for other weeks for it to become a challenge the next time you wish to overload.:)
